Our Namesake
Honorable Dr. S. Jangaba M. Johnson

Dr. S. Jangaba M. Johnson was a professor, historian, and writer. He studied and authored books on the impact of Liberian history and culture on society.
The S. Jangaba M. Johnson Foundation was formed, as a family run and operated foundation, to continue the work and legacy of the late Dr. S. Jangaba M. Johnson by focusing on programs that promote art, culture, a healthy community, and excellence in education. As well as supporting students in their educational endeavors through scholarships and educational grants.

To celebrate the Liberian cultural history and heritage while broadening the role of arts in the Liberian community and fostering artistic creativity.

To find ways to advocate for better healthcare, provide information to guide effective outreach, and assess needed medical needs.
